Mt. Joy

Mt. Joy are a four-piece band that come straight from Philadelphia and feature Matt Quinn (vocals, guitar), Sam Cooper (guitar), Simeon Dumdum Jr. (bass) and Michael Ford Jr. (drums). Their indie-folk sound is reminiscent of Fleet Foxes for their vocal harmonies, My Morning Jacket for their rock feel, and even the delicate pop of The Shins. A band that has just begun to attract a lot of much-deserved attention.
