Melody Gardot

Melody Gardot, a vocalist, guitarist, and pianist from New Jersey, has overcome extraordinary adversity, including a near-fatal bicycle accident, to become a unique jazz artist. Known for her dusky voice and emotionally rich songwriting, she blends jazz, blues, folk, and socially conscious themes. Her albums include Worrisome Heart, My One and Only Thrill, Currency of Man, Sunset in the Blue, and Entre eux deux (with Philippe Powell).
