Héron

Héron is the neo-folk project of singer-songwriter Henri Kinkead, honoring Québécois musical roots through intimate, enveloping songs. He revitalizes this heritage with a queer and contemporary lens, infusing it with a personal, modern vision. Blending Joni Mitchell-inspired folk, indie rock, and Louis Boudreault’s reels, his carefully crafted melodies showcase a vibrant musical identity. A 2023 Francouvertes finalist, Henri fully steps into the spotlight with Héron and will release his EP Bras Solaires in fall 2025.
