Afternoon Bike Ride

Afternoon Bike Ride is an eclectic indie trio from Montreal, consisting of Lia Kurihara, Éloi Le Blanc-Ringuette, and David Tanton. Blending folk, pop, and ambient textures, they have released several acclaimed projects, including the Skipping Stones EP (2021), their self-titled debut LP (2021), and Glossover (2023). Their recordings combine field captures with instrumental experimentation, with members sharing guitar, vocals, and percussion duties, as well as mixing English and French. Their collaboration has led to extensive Canadian and US tours, featuring performances at Montreal’s Jazz Fest and opening for folk luminary Novo Amor.
