After a first visit to the FEQ in 2015, this four-piece from Baltimore led by Samuel T. Herring continues to refine its synth-pop on its most recent and very successful People Who Aren’t There Anymore. Anyone who has already experienced Future Islands live knows that the band’s melodic alternative rock is a grandiose and euphoric affair. A perfect example of lasting longevity, in 2024 Future Islands is celebrating the tenth anniversary of it first album Singles.
