Erika Hagen

Originally from Quebec, Erika Hagen-Veilleux graduated from Quebec City Circus School in 2017. Her multidisciplinary work explores possible relationships between bodies, music and poetry. Erika Hagen is one of her many ventures, an indie-rock project with a playful poetic and feminist twist. Inspired by poets like Patrice Desbiens, the Riot Grrrls of the 90s and 2000s as well as artists like Courtney Barnett and Avec pas d’casque, her songs are as irreverent and they are intimate. After busking in the streets of Old Quebec in 2023, Erika Hagen just finished her first album, accompanied by producer Dany Placard. The album was released in the spring 2025.
