Dead Obies

Dead Obies is a defining force in Quebec hip-hop over the past fifteen years, helping establish rap as a central pillar of the province’s popular culture. Their 2013 debut album Montréal $ud was critically acclaimed and reshaped the local scene, followed by the successful Gesamtkunstwerk (2016), which led to sold-out shows across Quebec, including a packed MTELUS. With DEAD. (2019), the group symbolically closed one chapter and began another. After a five-year hiatus, Dead Obies are now preparing a highly anticipated return to the stage.
