Alaclair Ensemble

One of the best rap acts to come out of Quebec, Alaclair Ensemble has been throwing deliciously satirical rhymes against a multi-textured soundtrack since 2010. If the pandemic turned many things upside down, its excesses were a creative driving force for this collective that released their album Lait paternal last fall, a first opus in four years. Back with the same verve, nothing escapes the razor-sharp quills of the 5 members, with social criticism tinged with humour on topics like cancel culture, wokism, ecoanxiety and conspiracism all on the menu. Gather some friends and arrive early for some exhilarating and well-crafted postrigodon.
