Skinshape

Skinshape is the studio project of British musician and producer William Dorey, born from his love for vintage sounds. His music draws on a wide range of genres, particularly 1960s-70s funk and soul, reggae, psychedelic rock, afrobeat, and folk. He played bass for the band Palace from 2014 to 2017 and co-founded the reggae label Horus Records. Through Skinshape, Dorey crafts a rich and eclectic musical world, blending nostalgia and contemporary sensibilities in carefully arranged, genre-spanning compositions.
