Shaggy
Shaggy, born Orville Richard Burrell in Kingston, rose from Brooklyn’s dancehall scene to global fame with “Oh Carolina” after serving in the U.S. Marines. The only diamond-selling dancehall artist, he has sold over 40 million albums and ranks among Spotify’s top streamed reggae acts alongside Bob Marley and Sean Paul. A Grammy winner for 44/876 with Sting, he scored viral success with “Banana” and collaborated on hits like “Go Down Deh.” Beyond music, he supports Jamaica through his Shaggy Make a Difference Foundation.
