La Sécurité

La Sécurité is a Montreal-based collective crafting art-punk driven by jumpy rhythms, angular arrangements, and minimalist hooks, filtered through neon-lit insomnia. Blending punk, new wave, and krautrock, their dancefloor-ready sound carries Riot Grrrl–inspired lyrics celebrating autonomy, friendship, and benevolence. Their debut Stay Safe! (2023), long-listed for the 2024 Polaris Prize, earned critical acclaim and was followed by Stay Safe! REMIXED. Known for explosive, movement-fueled live shows, La Sécurité has performed at SXSW, Reeperbahn, and major festivals worldwide. Their sophomore album Bingo! arrives in 2026 via Bella Union and Mothland.
