Born in 1986 in Honduras, Cruzito (Edi Cruz) moved to Quebec at age three. Influenced by gospel, pop, 1990s music videos, and Michael Jackson’s Thriller, he developed a strong musical foundation early on. He began making music in high school and gained online recognition with Dime Que Sera and De Que Vale, which spread across Latin America. Signed to Pina Records, he collaborated with R.K.M & Ken-Y and other reggaeton stars. After touring widely as an independent artist, he relaunched his career in 2021 with Lagrimas y Lambos, earning awards and nominations. Now based in Montreal, he is emerging as a leading figure in Quebec’s urban Latin music scene.
