Chalk

Chalk is the project of award-winning musicians and filmmakers Ross Cullen and Benedict Goddard, blending the Dublin guitar scene with Belfast hardcore rave. Their sound, somewhere between industrial punk and abrasive techno, evokes IDLES, Death Grips, Daniel Avery, and Bicep. Formed in 2022, the duo quickly established themselves as a must-see live act, with a sold-out debut UK/Ireland tour. Their Conditions Trilogy fuses dark techno, gothic post-punk, and sharp riffs, earning them the support of Fontaines D.C. and IDLES. Boosted by radio stations, the international press, and major festivals, Chalk is experiencing a meteoric rise. Signed to Alter Music (NY), their debut album will be released on March 13th 2026.
