Amantes del Futuro is the original project of Mexican composer and producer Ima Felini, launched in 2002 to explore experimental cumbia. Blending Colombian cumbia, sonidera, chicha, and electronic influences, the project helped pioneer a futurist approach to the genre. In 2005, he founded La Super Cumbia Futurista in Mexico City, inspiring international movements like ZZK Records. Now part of Kumbia Net, ADF has toured extensively across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, becoming influential in both experimental and sonidero scenes.
