FEQ Awards Winners

When the Prix international de la chanson francophone was created in 1989, Festival d'été de Québec's purpose was to pay tribute to creators and organizations who ensure the French song.

Three annual prizes are now awarded.

Espoir FEQ presented by Gouvernement du Québec

The Espoir FEQ Award winner is determined by a comittee of professionals from music industry*. The selection criterias are the exceptional nature of the artistic proposal, scenic performance quality, potential international influence and the general enthousiasm raised by the artist.

The Espoir FEQ winner is awarded :

  • A Sirius XM-FEQ Bursary of $10,000 in cash
  • Appearances in various festivals all over the year, thanks to a partner network including: the Printemps de Bourges and the Ottawa BluesFest. 

The two other nominees are awarded a 1,000$ bursary each from Sirius XM.
