A self-taught violinist, Sudan Archives has mastered the art of creating haunting rhythms that inventively combine elements of R&B and North African folk sounds with a touch of experimental electronic music. Since the release of her self-titled EP in 2017, the young American beatmaker has created a unique style, producing songs that can be ethereal, even frantic, which she enhances with her knockout verve. Proof of her undeniable talent can be heard on her most recent album Natural Brown Prom Queen, which has landed on all the lists of Best Albums of 2022. On stage, her passion and energy will easily cast a spell on everyone in attendance.
