Between burlesque and the absurd on songs like Hawaiian, Dans mon corps and Grand Champion, the ironic humour in the pop-rock songs of Les Trois Accords has helped them make a bold place for themselves in Quebec popular music. A sort of francophone response to the satirical punk of Weezer, this four-piece from Drummondville are riding the success of their latest hit Ouvre tes yeux, Simon! from the album Présence d'esprit, which celebrates 25 years of creativity filled with lots of joy, and so much unpredictability.
