At the 62nd edition of the Grammy Awards in 2020, Jamaican singer Mikayla Simpson, aka Koffee, was only 19 years old when she won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album for her EP Rapture, making history by becoming the youngest solo singer and only woman to win the prize. After introducing herself to the public with her hit Toast, she even managed to make a place for herself on a play list of artists curated by former US President Barack Obama.
