Valence is singer-songwriter Vincent Dufour's excuse for celebrating the messiness of being in your twenties. It’s a blend of daydreams and nostalgia in vivid colour. Originally from Québec City, he writes and composes intimate and maximalist bedroom pop. Vincent sings about his loves, his doubts and his dreams of being elsewhere to a recurring "you", whom he constantly questions. He sometimes borrows from ethereal dream-pop aesthetics and others from the density of neo-psychedelia, to build pieces with rich arrangements and modern structures.
