Musical style

On the strength of his second album, launched to great acclaim at the MTelus last October, Miro is coming to the FEQ armed with his dynamism, and fun and catchy melodies that propel the warm sound of his R&B, hip hop, soul and pop. If the album Sablier is the logical continuation of his first calling card (En retard sur ma vie, released in 2019), the new opus also shows Miro has matured, returning with themes he previously touched on like the passage of time and the importance of making peace with it. His performance at the Olympic Stadium in the summer of 2020 was an indication of his originality, where he took over its tower for a one-of-a-kind performance. Miro’s show at this year’s festival is sure to be a memorable event.
