Forbidden objects and other rules

In 2021 it is possible to participate in the Festival d'été de Québec by visiting the following three sites:

Please consult our rules and the list of prohibited items on our sites for a safe and enjoyable visit.

As in all convivial parks in Quebec City, alcohol consumption is allowed until 8 P.M and must accompany a meal.

A free cloakroom is available for spectators at the Armoury.

The capacity of our sites will be determined by the sanitary measures in effect at the time of the event.

Behaviors not accepted on the Festival sites

  • Aggressive behavior will not be tolerated
  • Alcohol prohibited after 8 pm in the FEQ Hangout
  • Alcohol prohibited at all times at VIEWS, the photo exhibition
  • Dogs without a leash or without supervision will not be tolerated. Owners will be required to pick up their pet’s feces.
  • No alcohol consumption without meals
  • Swimming prohibited in the basin of the Parc de la Francophonie
  • Tobacco and cannabis consumption prohibited in the photo exhibition

The following objects are forbidden on Festival sites

  • Charcoal or wood barbecue
  • Bat, ball, balloon of all kinds
  • Fireworks or firecrackers
  • Illegal drugs and related accessories
  • Inflatable object
  • Knives and blunt object
  • Laser pointer
  • Megaphone or sound device that can disturb tranquility
  • Musical instrument
  • Object intended for sale/promotion without signed written permission from the Festival
  • Object that could put the safety of other spectators at risk
  • Propane BBQ WITHOUT ABC Type Fire Extinguisher
  • Tent, tarp or hammock
  • Water pistol
