Ten years after their hit In Hell I'll Be in Good Company, these 4 musicians from Regina, Saskatchewan continue to perfect their mix of gritty bluegrass-folk on albums like Sugar & Joy (recorded at the legendary Muscle Shoals studio in Alabama). Sitting somewhere between bands like Old Crow Medicine Show and Mumford and Sons, Nate Hilts and the boys perform their rousing shows with rock energy all over the world. With several tips of the hat to their punk and grunge influences, The Dead South brings its rowdy bluegrass to headline the Loto-Québec Stage at Parc de la Francophonie this summer.
