Les Soeurs Boulay

After a three-year hiatus from performing live, the Boulay sisters are returning to the stage, bringing their Échapper à la nuit concert to the FEQ to present their new album of the same name. To make the stage show match the originality of the new recordings, they called on Connor Seidel, who also produced the album, to write arrangements that are faithful to the subtle electro feel of the duo’s new songs. The Boulay sisters make music we listen to in quiet spaces, but also crucially, music that makes every show a common and unique experience we can share as a group.

Since they started performing, they have focused on their strong stage presence, with shows that are immersive and interactive, even festive events. But this time the sisters won’t be on their guitars and pianos as much, choosing instead to move to the music, joined by Marc-André Larocque on drums, Camille Gélinas on keyboards and programming and Charles Blondeau on stringed instruments. The vast range of their repertoire, their past hits and recent songs will all unfold in the setting of their new sound.
