Jérôme 50

Jérôme 50 has Quebec tattooed on his heart and doesn’t hide his love for his province and hometown. Truly in love with words, Jérôme 50 handles them with as much inventiveness as the great poets who have come before him. Like a Dédé Fortin or Richard Desjardins from the post-digital era, language for him is like modelling clay that he shapes playfully, creating lyrics that resist convention to reveal an entire universe in song.

Building on the success of his first album La hierarchill and his project Le camp de vacances de Jérôme 49, his song Tokébakicitte shattered airplay records and rose to the top of the French radio charts. From trad to pop punk, disco and country, Jérôme 50 is everywhere you don't expect him to be. His much-anticipated sophomore album Antigeographically was released in 2023.
