Originally launched in the streamosphere, Aswell has already logged more than 18 million streams. In his early twenties, the artist even managed to blow up the charts with his song Leaving, which alone has been played close to 8 million times. No one was surprised that SOCAN picked him as one of the top five rappers to watch in 2021.

His first EP titled Solo was released in the spring of 2021, entirely produced, mixed and mastered by him. With reminders of artists like Juice Wrld, The Kid Laroi and Lomepal, this Québécois rap EP oscillates somewhere between pop rap and emo rap. Aswell uses melodies and flows that are sung, making the project accessible to a very wide audience. His lyrics open doors to his thoughts that he heals with music, drawing us in using an uninhibited mixture of Frenglish that is effective and speaks to us all.
